No consequence to him, unfortunately.

Perhaps of no consequence, but I could sit and listen to that man say anything..read the Manhattan phone directory if need be..for days...
Best line from "Sense and Sensibility" came from his lips: "The air is full of spices." All the mystery of the East in one fell swoop.

Now I'm hunting for the site that posts photos of women over 40 or 50 for reasons of no consequence.

Oh well. They do age marvelously, don't they? I vote for this one over Craig. Something about Craig...he's better in moving pictures than in still shots.

I vote for this one over Craig too. He sounds better. Think I would prefer to hear cookbooks over the phone directory though. I don't suppose anyone esle saw Galaxyquest? He was so very good in that.

"By Graptar's hammer, I will avenge you!"

He was fabulous in Galaxy Quest. (a very funny movie. near perfect.)

Jaysis, I, too, really really like this guy.

Yep. I, too, prefer this one over Craig.

Well, if we are comparing two guys who do scary characters, I have to say that Craig has the whole 'scowling thing' down. Part of that is his facial shape - which is very angular and sort of Eastern European, actually. The light blue eyes also are very cold. So, if you are going for scary and villain, I'd go for Craig. If you are going for someone a little bit more cuddly who can also do villain, then this other fellow is a better choice.

With the six degrees of the blogosphere, someone will pass on our breathless appreciation to Mr Rickman.
Won't you?

I'd just like to add my vote. For both of them ...

I would not mind hearing that voice next to me. In the dark. In the sack.

Phyllis - your comments read like a very adult version of Dr. Seuss's "Green Eggs and Ham".

I adore Rickman. That voice ...

He's been great in many things, but I really enjoyed his performance in a movie that nobody but me seems to like, An Awfully Big Adventure.

I like Craig, too.
