Thank God the poor model was wearing knickers.

And if she were in the US, I'd tell her to get a C-2(workers compensation accident and injury report)filed pronto with her agency due to unsafe working conditions. If enough models did THAT, the agencies would see some major increases in their workers compensation rates and perhaps THEN they will do something about this horrific situation.

I remember being distressed as a child, seeing a local news report about a giraffe in the zoo that had tumbled down. It was unable to get back up, or be turned about without cranes and cushions and even the demolition of a wall. Hmmmmmm.

You know shoes are ridiculous when even models can't walk in them... I hope she didn't hurt her ankle too bad.

Fall Guys | Prada’s Precarious Platforms
By JONATHAN S. PAUL

Stick a sock in it — Prada’s black booties may have contributed to Tuesday’s slips and falls.

MILAN — During fashion week, part of the drill for editors is attending so-called re-see appointments for an up-close inspection of the runway collections. Yesterday, T Magazine’s Milan team rolled up to the Prada command center, and soon we were holding the infamous superhigh platform sandals in our hands, the very ones responsible for Tuesday night’s parade of pratfalls that everybody is still talking about. What we discovered thanks to the easygoing P.R. girls is that the shoes didn’t act alone — it was likely the slippery black booties the models wore inside their sandals that ultimately did them in. The theory is that Miuccia’s high-fashion Peds, which close with a drawstring ribbon, were so silky that some models couldn’t keep their feet stable inside the shoes. (When you’re trying to walk in some of the highest heels out there, having butter feet doesn’t help the cause.) Bad news for personal injury lawyers: Prada is considering fusing the socks to the insoles to avoid further slip-ups when the shoes are produced commercially.

Chinese footbinding at it's best.

I feel for the poor girl, as I sit here nursing a swollen sprained ankle, although from the angle of her foot it looks more like a break than a sprain.
However, the shoes above look as though they might be fun to wear, like walking on pogo sticks. Sadly, I suspect the sight of a middle aged woman bounding down the street in them, would be amusing rather than stylish.
