About me
Linda Grant is a novelist and journalist. She won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2000 and the Lettre Ulysses Prize for Literary Reportage in 2006. She writes for the Guardian, Telegraph and Vogue. Her latest novel, The Clothes on Their Backs was shortlisted for the 2008 Man Booker Prize. What would you expect from woman who endorse Pit Bull Palin?
The bag is fun, but red coat with gold braid is a bit much - too Ringling Brothers!
Looks like a Suchard easter chocolate to me...
Not my style, but she seems to be workin' it. She's got the bling, the big ole acryllic French nails, and I'd bet dollars to donuts she's wearing a white skirt and navy blue pumps. As Dolly Parton once said, "figure out who you are and then do it on purpose." She's pure Orange County Fundraiser Luncheon Hostess.
Look at the awful ill fitting beige slacks on the other woman though. What was she thinking? Well patently wasn't - nasty blouse too. One of those woman who'd probably look scruffy even in a chanel suit.
I think that the angle of the shot is a little unkind and wouldn't show either woman at her best. Most of us would look odd, and a little crumpled, at that angle.
