I've never understood why people think the 'umbrella dance" from Singin' In The Rain is considered his best work - this, from It's Always Fair Weather, is much more clever, in my opinion.

Singin' In The Rain is the better known song for most people - also easier to sing and more universal in tone. However, this is my favorite movie dance of all time. Is there a better dancer than Gene Kelly? No one else could pull off a tap dance on skates....sigh...carol
