That was fun! The Bemberg brand still exists today as a widely available rayon lining called "Ambiance" but the company itself (originally German) succumbed to globalization and no longer exists. It appears the Bemberg trademark is now owned by a Asahi-Kasei, Japanes textiles copmany.
