Giorgio Armani has a blog!

Yes, it actually is him.

This morning, I was dressed in navy and ready to go at 7:40 a.m. I went straight to the store to check the L.E.D. lights that they had installed the night before over the entire exterior of the store. The lights are tiny dots that oscillate to create moving images on the surface, and I’m very pleased with the results. At 9 a.m., I headed up to 166th Street with Caroline Kennedy. It was the first time I’ve ever met her, and I found her to be very refined, with impeccable manners.Luckily she speaks French, which is my second language.
. . .
just got back from lunch at Swifty’s, where I had a plate of spaghetti carbonara, two glasses of red wine and watched all of the elegant couples dining in their nice clothes and fancy earrings. I feel much better. After lunch, I hopped back to my apartment for a 15 minute power nap. I always take a very quick nap after lunch. I think this is probably rather Italian, no? Even just a quarter of an hour of rest completely regenerates me and allows me to run back to work. I needed the break after a marathon of interviews this morning in the restaurant on the top floor of my new store. Since I do not speak English, I use a translator to help out. I’m the king of multitasking, even during interviews. While she repeats things back in English, I use the 10 second break to tell my staff in Italian how to set the tables. I oversee every single aspect of my business and stores, and I’m very attentive to the details; even how the candles are placed on each table is essential. There is so much to do before Tuesday night — and I am not great at delegating. I like to be a part of everything, including how the curtains hang.

I like this line: "Americans overcook their pasta. Always. And there’s too much sauce. Too much of everything! Please, try to control yourselves."

His blog is eloquent for one who does not speak English.

and so to bed ... a surprisingly boring blog posting for such a creative man.

Does anyone else think that this is exactly how it would sound like if FakeKarl (http://fakekarl.blogspot.com/) wanted to do a stint as FakeArmani?

I vastly prefer Sonia Rykiel...

I believe the blog has been exposed to be authored by a journalist who interviews Armani?
