About me
Linda Grant is a novelist and journalist. She won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2000 and the Lettre Ulysses Prize for Literary Reportage in 2006. She writes for the Guardian, Telegraph and Vogue. Her latest novel, The Clothes on Their Backs was shortlisted for the 2008 Man Booker Prize. Hooray!! I just received my copy of "The Clothes on Their Backs." I plan to use it as an escape from what promises to be an extremely stressful holiday.
I'm looking forward to reading that. Do hope we have access to the original UK edition here; hate Americanised books.

I'm sure many more of us would have written to congratulate you; of course you understand how upset we are about our virtual friend Harry and his family, and keep checking your site for updates on that.
