That's gorgeous - just what I need right now! I'm sitting in my office in a shirt, sweater and jacket, and I'm fer-eezing. August - peh. I can't wait till next week when it's September and hence officially A/W - coat season!
I'm going to run out and get those accessories right now, Toby. Well certainly the gloves. By the way, the coat has a distinct waist and gently flared 'skirt'. It's a sort of brown.
Wonderful! The fabric's drape and loft comes through even in the photos. That cashmere will feel absolutely sumptuous this winter and the collar is fabulous -- I'm guessing it will even pull up rather hood-like against snow or sleet, in a pinch. Well worth the re-mortgaging!
Yes, of course cashmere will stand up to snow, sleet and cold. It is very warm, but light. Probably can resist a bit of the cold drizzle you get in London, as well.
And rest assured, the wee cashmeres didn't die, they just shivered a little.
Th thing about this coat is that it is so exceptionally flattering on. It's classic without being dull and it feels like heaven because of the cashmere. It's absolutely typically Armani less is more. He knows how to dress grown-up women, not pre-pubescent sticks.

Wow. It almost makes me wish I didn't live in Florida

Why is it I picture you with a fur muff(stone marten perhaps?), long leather gloves and a very smart hat with this? Wow. THAT is a coat.

Ooh! Can I touch it? I just want to know if it feels as good as it looks. Lovely, Linda!
Absolutely stunning. Hope it feels as wonderful to wear as it looks.
I knew it!
Wear it in good health, as we say in our family.
An absolute beauty! The colour is gorgeous to look at at, flattering to wear and will team with any other colour you wish to put with it.
Congratulations and may you have many many years of happiness together!

Just lovely. The collar is particularly face-framingly beautiful.
I am allergic to cashmere, but I would swallow a bottle of antihistamine to wear that coat!
Mazel tov!
The goats were probably shorn in the spring and are on their way to having a new winter coat - though not as lovely as yours.
That is just perfect!

I was going to say what Judith van Praag said: wear it in good health....divine divine.
