Compact foundation

The compact foundation to which Mary refers, is Chanel Teint Innocence. She wears it, and now I wear it. I have pale skin and the colour I use is 20 Clair. You can buy refills.

I picked this stuff up after you first posted Mary's recommendation. It's fabulous. Doesn't look like you're wearing foundation; the skin just looks smoother and more even in tone.

Is this the same in texture as Chanel's Vitalumiere (Teint Compact Cremne Eclat Jeunesse)?

I rushed out to buy this after you first mentioned and bought the darn bottle foundation version - it's not great by the way. Now I'm off to try the proper one (and to practice my reading & comprehension skills).

I don't know, Wendy. I tried the Vitalumiere liquid but found it was too shiny for my combination skin.

Is this okay for dry skin?

I too went to the shop on intension to get this Chanel compact foundation, but didn´t buy it cause even the palest was too dark IMO. Perhaps it might work if you could see it on your face in day light, but the color you Linda have just looked so dark in the store. It´s fine that they sell the refills separately, so you save a little not having to buy everything all over again.
