Thought for the day

As she had not hope of raising herself to the rank of a beauty, her only chance was bringing others down to her level. Emily Eden

I'm not sure if the problem is with Miss Posh...or Miss Katy's seeming lack of self-confidence about her own style and willingness to do as she is told. Oh, and check out those wrist bones.

Posh's hairstyle has become known as the "Pob" and is now all the rage with the over-60 set here in LA, which I find amusing. Actually, the cut really rocks with silver-grey hair.

While not a bad haircut, the "POB" has somehow managed to take over New Jersey, one head at a time. At cheerleading, football, basketball...all the moms are now sporting some version of the cut. Becoming a bit "Stepford"-y for me to even try it.

It takes a lot of peroxide and a lot of ionic-straightening to get Posh's sleek pob :p

Yes,strange wrist bones...This is not a new haircut. It's very eighties in flavor and not new in the eighties for that matter. But people have definitely labeled it "Posh". I understand popular culture but cannot in my heart of hearts claim Miss Posh to be a Style Icon. Anyone?

I saw Posh last week on Rodeo Drive and I've to admit that she looked quite adorable. I walked by her as she was walking out of Versace.
As for the hair, she's sporting a classic Vidal Sasoon from sometime in the early 1980's.
I guess that if you wait long enough everythin old is new again.

Actually, that is a classic Sasoon cut from circa 1966. I know; I was there.
