Purchase

mine is purple

Without intending to, I bought this LK Bennett tweed jacket on Thursday, when I went out to pick up my new contact lenses. I got it in purple. I wore it Thursday night while being poisoned by Sardinian red wine, and I wore it at my publisher's lunch for me on Friday. It has been much admired. I always thought LK Bennett was a bit home counties for my taste, a more sophisticated Boden, home of the kitten heel and all that, but in this case, I think it came good. I wore it with the Jaeger dress.

Linda - by "home counties" do you mean the way HRH dresses in the country(tweed skirts, sensible shoes, etc.?). I see this jacket as way more fashionable than that - the rounded lapels send me a different message, but then, I'm not familiar with that "dress code". I don't think we have anything that equates to that in the US.

Gorgeous! I like the green one too - I'd wear that one myself.

It looks great.

No, I mean just a bit safe, unedgy.

Great looking jacket, edgy or not. It would be perfect for my work wardrobe.

That jacket looks so well cut. I was just looking through the dresses on the LK Bennett site they also look good, do none of them fit your dress requirements?

No, they cut so there's a lot of cling on the hips, whereas I like skim.

I actually find the dresses in LK Bennett very flattering to the "normal" womens figure i.e. hips, bum and bust!

This TAZE dress is tailored beautifully and can be dressed up or down depending on occasion http://www.lkbennett.com/products/clothing/clothingdresses/clothingdressesdaywear/taze/pid-28900grey
