About me
Linda Grant is a novelist and journalist. She won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2000 and the Lettre Ulysses Prize for Literary Reportage in 2006. She writes for the Guardian, Telegraph and Vogue. Her latest novel, The Clothes on Their Backs was shortlisted for the 2008 Man Booker Prize. Wonderful notion. But my aversion to La Moss makes it hard to see her as anything approaching elegant.

I don't think of her as elegant either—far from it. But I do think she's a style innovator, and I really respect that.
Does that definiton allow dark roots badly in need of a touch up?
Sorry, elegant is NOT the word I would use to describe that series of pictures.
