Lingerie: out of sight, out of mind wins

A clear majority of you in the lingerie poll think that it's either a waste of money to buy pretty underwear, or prefer it to serve the purpose of foundation. As I remarked in the comments, the eternal conundrum is that you want lingerie that gives you a good line under your clothes, but looks sexy when you get undressed. I tend to go with expensive (Lejaby) bras and M&S knickers.

A well-fitting bra is worth its cost in "annoyance avoidance". Any bra that insists on requiring me to keep hauling up the straps or pulling down the back has written a one-way ticket to the rubbish.

The day-to-day bra comfort for you girls is, of course, a total requirement. And there should be more effort put in by designers on that issue. But being a bloke, I am in big favour of the "lounge on the couch looking stunning and feed me grapes" type silk bras.

My solution exactly! I need to spend money on bras, anyway; the cheap ones don't come in my size, not that I'm that elephantine. Don't even get me STARTED about Agent Provocateur. Anyway, gorgeous bras with lovely proportions and excellent engineering, and plain, though nice - I am still fussy - cotton knickers.

Funny how girls love talking about bras. We drove a male colleague from his desk this way recently, before even realising what we were doing!

That picture looks like one of these deep ocean luminescent fishes. Dangerous too, probably...
