Adios amigos

The Thoughtful Dresser decamps tomorrow first to Washington DC, then to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where I will be obliged to spend many hours in our villa, lying by the infinity edge pool and having delicious meals prepared by the chef. I will not be taking my laptop.

The collapse of Lehman Bros in September forced upon us this act of economic compassion. Personally, I would rather have stayed at home, but rental villas were lying empty, so what could we do? We must save the world economy.

See you in January.

  2. Happy Holidays, Linda. I'm not sure what the Margarita Requirement is in Puerta Vallarta, but my friends who regularly visit Mexico tell me it's several per day. And don't forget your sunscreen!

  7. Have a lovely time, and some PV recommendations:

    1. Red Cabbage restaurant - great food and visual homage to Frida Kahlo.

    2. Head up to Nueva Vallarta and do the buffet at the Grand Velas.

    3. Swim with dolphins at Nueva Vallarta.

    4. Great spa at Paradise Village in Nueva Vallarta. They also have a big cat rescue and you can see lions, tigers, panthers up close.

    Have a lovely time!!!
