Somehow I feel like Victoria Beckham (and a few others - Daphne Guinness springs to mind) just operate differently that the rest of us. Their personal style is just on another plane, and I find it a little heartening that they just go and wear whatever they want, no matter how impractical, unusual, or aesthetically displeasing to some.
Not that I'd ever wear heelless boots or shoes, nor vinyl footwear on the whole. But I can't help loving that she's doing her own thing.
Mrs Beckham will doubtless be buying Maison Martin Margiela. See pictures of its spring/summer 2009 collection at Paris fashion week on the front page of the DT website now. Deeply, deeply strange.
How very very dreadful. Does she walk in them? On her toes? Or should we assume One doesn't need to do something as low-class as walk? These make me think of ancient Chinese bound feet. Twisted little sister she is.
