Wonderful! The fabric's drape and loft comes through even in the photos. That cashmere will feel absolutely sumptuous this winter and the collar is fabulous -- I'm guessing it will even pull up rather hood-like against snow or sleet, in a pinch. Well worth the re-mortgaging!
Yes, of course cashmere will stand up to snow, sleet and cold. It is very warm, but light. Probably can resist a bit of the cold drizzle you get in London, as well.
And rest assured, the wee cashmeres didn't die, they just shivered a little.
Th thing about this coat is that it is so exceptionally flattering on. It's classic without being dull and it feels like heaven because of the cashmere. It's absolutely typically Armani less is more. He knows how to dress grown-up women, not pre-pubescent sticks.

The goats were probably shorn in the spring and are on their way to having a new winter coat - though not as lovely as yours.
