    Obviously, they had a lot of cooking to do if they went to all the trouble to make themselves aprons.

    This was precisely the point when it all went down the drain. And it came to the 1963, when Lt.Col. J. Algernon Hawthorne in the movie It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World says "Your whole civilization is founded on a bra". Or something along these lines...
