    I'm with Beau Brummell on this one - cleanliness and good country laundering is sufficient!

    Madame had some perfumes to sell and her pronouncement has the air of an advertising slogan.

    I rarely leave the house without a little perfume. It makes me feel pretty, or at least that prettiness is possible.
