Not only does it keep heating bills down but it stops me finding silly cleaning excuses, so I absolutely have to knuckle down to my writing. I also find wearing lipstick helps me concentrate when working at home too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424698162327097126.post-33487936545565080042008-09-02T14:58:00.000+01:002008-09-02T14:58:00.000+01:00I bought a simple plum cashmere jumper on your rec...I bought a simple plum cashmere jumper on your recommendation and it's the softest, richest coloured, most luscious cashmere I've ever worn. And only £85 (bought it in a sale). I work at home too and cashmere makes me feel luxurious but in an affordable way.

If you're prepared to hunt, go to TKMax on a weekday because they often have lovely cashmere gems stuffed among the jumper rails.Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16329937118727831213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424698162327097126.post-90133470835649244512008-09-02T14:52:00.000+01:002008-09-02T14:52:00.000+01:00I purchased several sweaters from Pure at Linda's ...I purchased several sweaters from Pure at Linda's recommendation and am highly pleased with the quality, esp. at the price, which would be 2x-3x as expensive elsewhere. The 4 ply cashmere is amazingly thick and soft.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424698162327097126.post-22907518809427668382008-09-02T12:58:00.000+01:002008-09-02T12:58:00.000+01:00Linda, I can't afford Pure but I've just b...Linda, I can't afford Pure but I've just been on M&S website and bought - "invested in"! - a hot pink V-necked cashmere for £49.50 (or 95, can't remember.) If I like it I will "invest in" the same one in teal. Lovely colours and I agree, if you work from home it's jeans and sweaters every day and a nice colour always makes me feel I''m going out somewhere.Geraldine Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01575892095296317266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424698162327097126.post-38362757970746306172008-09-02T09:36:00.000+01:002008-09-02T09:36:00.000+01:00Cashmere is always investment. Working from home, in the winter I pretty much wear jeans and a cashmere sweater every single day.Linda Granthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09126115924247248057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424698162327097126.post-84978746711476639472008-09-02T09:30:00.000+01:002008-09-02T09:30:00.000+01:00Sorry, forgot to ask, do you classify your purchas...Sorry, forgot to ask, do you classify your purchase as investment or impulse? It was the leopard printed one, which was reduced by £100! But alas, I sent it back the day it arrived as the quality was really not good, and the print was really quite dreary.

Last winter a friend of mine bought the frilly edged cardie, in burnt orange. It was exquisite. But they don't seem to be doing that style this autumn.

So, so far my luck with Pure has not been good, but I'll try again soon when I really know what I need.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
